Graduated from Japan Electronics College in 1987.
After training at discomate studio, he joined mit studio, and at the age of 25, he graduated from assistant to chief engineer.
In April 1999, he left MIT Studios after 12 years of employment and formed "THERMAL MIX" with Shinichi Usui, a former engineer at Victor Studios.
He currently works as a freelance engineer.
In 2019, he discovered Dolby Atmos and is currently working on everything from recording to mixing in Dolby Atmos.

Announcement December 8, 2023: Victory in the EMBODY + Pensado's PLACE Overdrive Mix Competition!!
On December 8, 2023 (local time), it was announced that I won the Overdrive Immersive Mix Competition (Dolby Atmos Mix Competition) hosted for the first time by EMBODY Inc. in California, USA, and Pensado's PLACE!
This competition featured the song "Overdrive" by artist Malavika, produced by Moriz Braun and released in April 2023, as the assigned track. Participants were provided with its stem data and were required to mix it in the Dolby Atmos format, adhering to specified technical requirements (file format: ADM, maximum loudness: -18.0 LKFS, and True Peak: -1.0 dBTP). The competition judged the quality of these mixes.
It’s said that more than 100 entries were submitted, and being able to achieve first place among them serves as a meaningful milestone for me moving forward.
I owe this achievement entirely to the mixing skills I’ve cultivated through my work with all of you. I sincerely thank everyone who has been involved in working with me!
